!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RESEARCH QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY ANSWER
WHY
If you read this article about mount Tambora at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Tambora you will easily think of three reasons for the Indonesians to protect themselves, 1. It is a active vol canoe, 2. It hasn't erupted in 43 years, 3. And it holds the record for worst volcanic eruption is history when it erupted in 1815 and spread ash all over the world, that year was none as the year without a summer because the ash blocked out all the sun. That is why the Indonesians should protect themselves.
HOW
To prepare for a volcano here is what you should do. First you should learn your city, village or whatever you live in warning arrangement. You should also prepare for disasters that can be caused by volcanoes, earthquakes, flash floods landslides, thunderstorms, thunderstorms, and tsunamis. (A good site for this that helped me with this answer is http://www.preparedness.com/) You should also help neighbors that have infants, have disabilities, or if they are elderly. Volcanoes can erupt without giving any sign of being active it can erupt from years to days so don't climb up a volcano to look at it closer up it could erupt. The volcano can show signs that it is active by rumbling or making the ground rumble, if ash and gasses come out of the cone, and the ash and gas can damage crops, earth movement, faint harmonic tremors or earthquakes, pumice dust in the air, acid rain, steam coming out of the top of the volcano, the smell of rotten eggs near rivers or streams. STAY ALERT LOOK FOR SIGNALS OR SMALL ERUPTIONS.That is how the Indonesians should protect themselves from another eruption and why.
